Buffalo Bull Subscription Information
The Buffalo Bull is my free newsletter. It is published at random intervals, expected to be usually from a few days to a month or two. Various topics are covered, from software and technology to philosophy and culture.
To subscribe, please go to the list manager.
We don't give or sell your e-mail address, and don't use it for any other purpose.
Please feel free to forward the Buffalo Bull to others; the only condition we impose is that you do not change it in any way.
Note 1: If you were subscribed to the previous series of the Buffalo Bull (that is, any published before 2011), then you will have to re-subscribe. The old recipient list was purged early in 2011, when we made plans to revive the list. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope you like the new series even more.
Note 2: These newsletters are now sent out in html format; plain text is not available. Sometimes I include non-latin characters (Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, et caetera) in the newsletters. Plain text doesn't handle some of those scripts very well, especially on machines which aren't expecting them. The problem is especially acute with languages such as Arabic and Hebrew, which are written right-to-left. So I'm forced to use html if I don't want the newsletters to be corrupted on a lot of machines.
