Introduction

Bionic Buffalo was incorporated in Nevada, U.S.A., in 1994. We shipped our first products in 1996: the first commercial CORBA ORB designed specifically for embedded systems, and a subset implementation of DSM-CC for interactive cable television.

Since then, we have produced additional CORBA software, as well as a complete DSM-CC. Software development tools based on our own in-house tools have been added. We also provide some programs which are spun off from other development projects, some our own, and some contracted by customers.

Although most of our revenue has come from licensing our own software, we occasionally do custom design and development work, engineering, and consulting.

Most of our sales have been to manufacturers and developers in Asia, North America, and Europe. We endeavour to provide the same quality products, services, and support, and the same prices, to all, regardless of geographic location.
