Description

nigeria is a library supporting Unicode character and string processing. The current version supports only UTF-32 encoded characters and strings; addition of UTF-8 support is planned for later versions. Functions are included to map from Unicode to Big-5, to JIS, and to KS code sets.

This version is based on Unicode 5.0.

Applications

Intended for general use in applications requiring some Unicode support.

Prerequisites

• standard Unix-like build environment, including Perl
• Miscellaneous Development Utilities - used to rebuild documentation
• Basic Configuration Library - used to control compile-time options
• Supplemental Function Library - for various functions
