What's New

This web site is served by Apache 2, on a virtual server running Ubuntu Linux. The server is hosted by Gandi SAS (http://gandi.net) at their Luxembourg data center.

Static content has been created mostly using LibreOffice, Inkscape, and Bluefish. Dynamic content is managed by custom Common Lisp software using sbcl. mod_lisp is employed to mediate between apache and sbcl. I have been almost completely successful in my attempt to avoid the use of javascript and cookies.  

GNU Mailman handles the lists.

The icon    is an approximation of one of my seals, or chops (Chinese 印鑑, yìnjiàn). Such seals are often used in parts of East Asia in the same way that signatures are used by Westerners. It contains the characters 馬錆, the Chinese name given to me by one of my teachers.
